As a millennial, I know when I used to think of auctions, I thought of “old lady stuff” that wouldn’t appeal to people my age. Oh how wrong I was! One assumption about people who buy at auctions is that they are older and wealthier. Age and socioeconomic status don’t have to prevent you from finding some unique things at amazing prices! Here are some reasons younger generations should participate in estate sales:
- Step up your thrifting game! If you love pilfering through the bins at thrift stores, then you’ll love estate sales! There’s something for everyone, from everyday items to electronics to antiques to art to toys to furniture and more! Often you will come across items that you can’t find in stores. Not to mention QUALITY! Older furniture tends to be more well-made and sturdier than the cheap furniture you might tend to go for because of the friendly price tag.
